anyways, christmas went by so quickly this year. i had to work on christmas eve so i missed out on the swartz family traditions (bar hopping, bowling, eating a lot, etc.) it sucked to be at work but i did remind myself to be thankful for having a job..but who am i kidding, that didn't help. it still sucked.
christmas day was a good day. we all woke up early, opened presents, watched "elf," and had brunch. mom cried about something like usual. i wore pink like usual. (photo evidence below).

after brunch, i tried to make everyone watch "mamma mia" with me. the only person that stayed in the living room and didn't complain was kyle..so props to my little bro for taking one for the team. although, i think he secretly enjoyed it. i heard him singing along to a few songs. after i got vetoed on watching the sing-a-long version of "mammi mia," we played a few games of scene it. i lost miserably every time which prompted me to add scene it to the list of things i suck at...scene it, bowling, volleyball, rollerblading, etc.
christmas also brought in a few visitors from texas. on friday night, we had a cousin meet-up at the blu bar lounge at the pfister. it was awesome to sit around and catch up with my cousins, while enjoying a jazz trio and some great wine. i did a little dancing that made knoel frown...

we took lots of pictures with the TX people..

..and finally decided it was time to leave when erika and i started acting very inapproriately in the hotel lobby.
on saturday night, my parents had all the TX people over for dinner. we made a vegan feast and non-vegan feast so everyone could enjoy the food! kyle and i were the only ones that weren't able to sit at the adult table..as usual. someday, i will sit at that damn table.andy, erika and i wore matching outfits....

we spent the rest of the night watching chandler run around and act adorable. he is so awesome.

after that, i made everyone watch "mamma mia" again. best movie ever.

You have such a cute family! Sorry you didn't get to sit at the adult table. When I was growing up, we always had holidays at my Grandma's and there were 7 of us and her dining room table only had 6 fancy chairs. I always had to sit on her "sewing room chair" and in all the pictures, I'm sitting like 8 inches lower than everyone else. For my whole entire childhood.
But I'm not bitter about it. :)
I really want to see Mamma Mia! Looks like you had a great Xmas!
Thanks to you...Knoel and I didn't have to watch Mamma Mia in Las Vegas since we had already seen it with you!
