It was nice to get a comment from you on my blog.
I try not to put medical things on my blog, but thought I should explain here.
I had open-heart surgery 2 months before the clown photos were taken. I think after that huge life changing surgery I went to just about anyone who would hold me or hug me. I even warmed up to my grandpa who says that before surgery I wouldn't have a thing to do with him, afterwards - a completely different kid.
Otherwise, I think I would've ran away or hid under tables if I saw a clown - I don't like them now & I'm 25.
I started this blog to document my life as a single twenty-something living in the city. Then, it was used to document my diagnosis and struggle with Ulcerative Colitis. Now, I am marrying my best friend and transitioning into the role of a wife! It's funny how life changes so quickly. This is my journey. Inspired by: family. friends. music. my jesus. books. lowercase letters. knowing it's worth it. volunteering. hot sauce. pictures that tell stories. a goodnight kiss. a story to tell. education. humanitarian acts. vegetables. talking through movies. grammar. snow days. raw enthusiasm. tan lines. weekend adventures. inside jokes. a new hair cut. rainy days. laughter. faith. philosophy. talking too much. waking up before the day begins. water. photography. city lights. tradition. girl's night out. lip gloss. waterslides. creating. doing something i'm proud of. unexplainable perfection. fireworks. the honesty of a child. learning something new. travel. slept-on hair. sleepy eyes. helping others. saving the world.
